Dear
Friends
As always we are looking for better ways to
help you improve your lives with the food you eat and the lives of others in
the community. So this year we are looking at a few new ventures.
One of these ventures is to offer you a few
new selections for your taste buds. For
the 2008 season you will have the opportunity to select whole Duck and Goose.
We have been working closely with the owners of the Yellow House Farm located
on Route 202 here in
Over the past years we have been very blessed
by all of our clients who believe in the same philosophy as we do. We have
always had a desire to help the less fortunate have access to healthy meats. So
another option you will see on the preorder form is the opportunity to help us
help the less fortunate in our community. With your donations, meats raised on
our farm will go directly to the local food pantries in
Also, we are going to have a spot at Atlantic
Culinary for their Wednesday farmer’s market in
Every year the concern about our commercial
food chain grows and more and more people are looking for the alternative. Though we do try to plan for the future, our
land can only supply so much. To be guaranteed Lasting Legacy Farm meats,
please make your selections earlier than later.
Also may we suggest that for those that can, maybe ordering chickens
alternate months will make it more cost effective for you. So instead of
ordering 2 every month, order 4 every other for example. This not only saves
time and feasibility for you.
Enclosed you will find your pre order form for
the 2008 seasons. Please think ahead of what you would like for the whole year
so we can pre order the necessary stock to make sure everyone’s needs are met. Please
fill out the pre order form with the necessary information. If while looking
over the order form, you have any questions please feel free to call! We do need the pre order form returned back
to the farm by February 15, 2008 so we
can place our orders in time. If this is not possible please contact us so
other arrangements can be made.
We thank you very much for your continued
support and look forward to any comments you have for us. We look forward also to a great 2008
Also
please remember to check out our website www.llfarm.net
periodically for upcoming events and planning ideas!
Sincerely,
Wendy
& Jon Berry
