Where we will discuss the differences between the different raising methods, and breeds of animals

Get to know the Animal up close!

Discover the whys and hows of these animals.

Why eat local meats

And the health benefits and is this right for you. How to use the information from the pasture walk to make the right descisions.

In the Kitchen!

We will be applying what we have learned to actual cuts of meats, what kind of herbs and oils or vinegars to use. What the best way to cook the meat from looking at it and knowing where it comes .  In the Poultry Class learn how to breakdown a chicken into 8 parts.

Hand outs and refreshments will be provided.
